Terms of service
1. Agreement
By adding NiX™ to a Discord server or using its commands, you agree to these terms. If you add the bot on behalf of a community, you confirm you have the authority to do so. If you don't agree, remove the bot.
2. Following Discord's rules
You must follow Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Developer Policy. Where these terms and Discord's conflict, Discord's apply.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use NiX™ to:
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against people, or help others do so.
- Break the law, or Discord's rules, or help others do so.
- Attempt to overload, disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the bot or its infrastructure.
- Automate commands in ways that evade rate limits, or use the bot to send spam.
- Collect personal data about people in a way they wouldn't reasonably expect.
4. Your responsibilities as a server owner
You are responsible for how NiX™ is configured in your server and for the moderation decisions your team makes with it. Make sure your members know what is logged, and check that the way you use logs and cases complies with the laws that apply to you.
5. Availability
NiX™ is provided as is. We aim to keep it running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from data loss. Features may change or be removed. We'll try to announce significant changes in the changelog and the support server.
6. Removal and suspension
We may stop the bot working in a server, or for a user, that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. You can stop using NiX™ at any time by removing it from your server. To also delete stored data, follow the steps in the privacy policy.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of NiX™, including actions taken by moderators using the bot. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using NiX™ after a change, you accept the new terms.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised in the support server.
