NiX™Privacy policy
The short version
NiX™ stores the settings you choose for your server, plus the moderation cases and warnings your moderators create. It doesn't sell data, show ads or build profiles of people. The rest of this page gives the detail.
What is stored

What isn't stored
- Message content, other than when a feature you have switched on needs it, such as showing the original text of a deleted message in a log you've enabled.
- Direct messages to or from other people.
- Email addresses, passwords, payment details or location.
How data is used
Data is used only to run the features you have enabled and to keep the bot working. It isn't sold, rented or used to advertise. It's shared only with the service providers that host the bot, or if the law requires it.
How long it is kept
- Settings and cases are kept while NiX™ is in your server.
- After you remove the bot, server data is deleted within 30 days unless you ask for sooner.
- Operational logs are kept for a short period, normally no more than 30 days.
- Reminders are deleted once they are delivered.
Your choices
- Turn features off. Logging and welcome messages can each be disabled with
/logs toggleand/welcome off. - Remove the bot. Kick NiX™ from your server to stop all collection from it.
- Ask for deletion. Server owners and managers can ask in the support server for all stored data about their server to be deleted. Individuals can ask for data that identifies them, such as warnings, to be reviewed or removed. We may need to confirm who you are first.
This website
This site is static. It doesn't use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and fonts are served from the same domain. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and requested page, for security and reliability.
Children
Discord requires users to be at least 13 years old, or older where local law says so. NiX™ isn't directed at younger children and doesn't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change what is stored or why, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and announce significant changes in the support server.
